A Royal Love Affair

Are we all excited about the Jubilee?!

I must admit, reading Stylist magazine this morning on the tube has hyped me up even more and inspired me to do a Jubilee post on a few things patriotic that caught my eye.
I was thinking about going down to the Thames and watching old queenie sail down... It is history in the making after all.
What do you guys have planed? Make sure you wear the true red white and blue colours :-)

Outfit Post - Tuesday

I dont know about you all but I have been knackered today at work! I have spent 99% of my day looking at spreadsheets which really didnt help.

I have another poor quality outfit post! I promise I will upload better pics once I have some spare time :-)

AHOY! Monday

Monday morning always come round way to fast!

I had a dress on this morning and whilst watching the weather update, they said there was going to be rain and thunder this afternoon! They lied and made me change my outfit! I was very over dressed today! (Again sorry for the poor quality).

Sunday Summary #3

I wish the sun was always shining like it has been. Everyone seems so much happier!

After work, I headed down to Battersea for a short walk by the river with the boyfriend.

I spent the morning organizing my wardrobes and having a massive clear out. (Pics on twitter) and then went to meet my boyfriend in the evening. We were meant to be going out however, due to an unfortunate incident where we came home to his cat attacking a squirrel, whilst trying to save it the squirrel bit him - a trip to A&E was in order to get a tetanus shot.... Please feel free to laugh as we couldn't stop!! (p.s this did cut into my Eurovision watching).

What better way to enjoy the sun?! Picnic in the park by the River = JOY!

Saturdays Shenanigans

Top - River Island
Shorts - Topshop
Necklace - New Look

I have to apologise for the poor quality of this picture...

This is my first outfit of today - my lounge wear. I woke up unusally early for me and just strolled to the post office to pick up some parcels. I then had a massive sort out with all my clothes. It was much needed and very over due.
Then I went to meet my boyfriend for a late lunch. The weather has been perfect!! However drama struct as we pulled up to his house. His cat was attacking a squirrel! Being the good Samaritan, he tried to help it. To cut a loooong story short, it bit him on the thumb and a trip to A&E was not optional according to the NHS helpline.
Needless say this was not what I had in mind for my Saturday night evening.... I just wanted to watch Eurovision haha!

Basics with a Twist

I have to say, I am LOVING these tops from TOPSHOP. I think they give the Basic Tee a new edge.  I thought they would look even more great with some prined leggins - which are a huge trend this season.

If you have been reading my blog/following me on twitter, it will come as no suprise that I have opted for the tye dye style leggins. I just cannot get enough of studs, tye dye and sequins!!

Sunday Summary #2

What a crazy stressful week it has been at work!! The weekend really could not have come sooner.
  • I finished the Fify Shades Trilogy :-( I have noticed on twitter though more and more people are getting into the book. I read an article in The Sun branding it 'Mummy Porn' - I disagree, I think its every girls guilty pleasure haha! I think my next read will be Immortal City.
  • I Went to Farridngdon with a few girls from work on Thursday. As we had the taste card we went to Little Bay. I love it there!! The food was so tastey and the cocktails even better. Needless to say I felt a little rough come Friday morning.

I spent most of the day in my PJ's sorting out my bedroom and wardrobe (which still is not done!). My parcels FINALLY arrived from H&M and Topshop - You would think that working just off Oxford Street I would would go into the s I seem to have a obsession with four trends at the moment; Denim, Studs, Sequins and Tye Dye - Can you tell?

Mint Green and Tye Dye dress - Both H&M
White Sequin Jumper from Topshop (Now Sold Out)

I had a pretty lazy Sunday aswell. Spent the day with my VERY happy boyfriend (Chelsea fan - Need I say more).
We went for a Nando's lunch and did a bit of shopping. He then suggested a little drive round London which I was all for. I love driving round London!

Monday Mojo

After the perfect weekend, I was walking to the tube station getting ready to hop aboard the morning rush hour to Oxford Circus (anyone who uses the Northern line and Victoria line know the joy this can be)! I was in much need of a pick me up song to kick start my Monday morning! What better song than Neon Hitch - F**k you better! I actually LOVE this song...

Sunday Summary #1

What a lovely weekend it has been!! I have welcomed this sunshine with open arms... I think we all needed it.

I had a bit of a shopping spree with my mum and sister. We only went to Clapham Junction but it is amazing how much you can buy within a few shops! We went to the epic BYRON for some lunch. Their burgers and salads are classicly yummy! I was a good girl though and only purchased the below...
Skirt - Miss Selfridge

Lucie dress - Monki

Emmie dress - Monki

What better way to soak up some sun then a trip to Brighton. I have to say Brighton was Buzzin! I have not been in a while and it was a last minute thing me and my boyfriend decided to.
We ate lots, drank lots and of course enjoyed the rides on the pier!
